Steps to Volunteer
Step One: Submit an Application
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, you will need to complete an application which includes special skills information and an interest's checklist. A finger printing background check is mandatory for all applicants before becoming an official volunteer. A copy of your current California Driver's license and your insurance must also be submitted with your application.
Step Two: Attend an Orientation
All prospective volunteers need to attend one of the chapter's volunteer orientations. Participants receive an overview of the Foundation's mission and gain insight regarding volunteer opportunities. Contact our volunteer services manager or view the events calendar to learn about upcoming orientation dates.
Step Three: Ways You Can Get Involved
Volunteers who complete our Volunteer Orientation can choose to volunteer in one or more of many areas. View ways to get involved.
